Emmerich am Rhein, 04.12.2019 The Emmerich based pet specialist H. von Gimborn GmbH had to release eleven employees with immediate effect for operational reasons today. The management informed the workforce on the restructuring at a staff meeting this morning. The compulsory redundancies are coordinated with H. von Gimborn’s works council and are thus conducted as socially acceptable as possible.
The background of the restructuring is an unexpected drop in sales in the Chinese market in the current year. Internationally active H. von Gimborn GmbH records a continuous growth in all its core markets. The liquidity of the company is sustainably secured. The management expressly regrets the step announced today. Apart from that, management is confident that it will be able to continue the growth of recent years in 2020.
